Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Fees Explained

Our low flat fee Chapter 7 Bankruptcy program covers the following services:

Initial consultation with one of our Ohio Licensed Attorneys.

Analysis of your financial situation and selection of the proper chapter under which to proceed.

A multi-source credit report.  (We run your credit report to "catch" old debts you may have forgotten.  Our computer program will import this data into your bankruptcy petition, saving you the time of having to write down all your creditors.)

Preparation of your Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Petition.  This includes all forms, schedules, and attachments.

Electronic filing in the proper United States Bankruptcy Court, including the filing fee.

Attendance at your meeting of creditors with one of our Ohio Licensed Attorneys.

For most clients this is all it takes to successfully complete a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.

What we do not cover for $999:  Federal law requires you to take a pre and post filing counseling course.  These must be done through approved third-party credit counselors. Most of our clients complete their counseling on-line.  This proves to be convenient and relatively inexpensive, usually about $15.  We reserve the right to charge additional fees for adversarial hearings, lien avoidance, and additional hearings beyond your initial meeting of creditors.  While such hearings are rare, they do sometimes happen and may result in additional fees.  We promise to treat you fairly in the unlikely event one of these situations arises.

This price point is only available for consumer Chapter 7 Bankruptcies, individuals and couples who file jointly. This service is not available to businesses, corporations, certain cases where the debtor has operated a business.  Offer only available in certain counties in Ohio.  Click here for a list of counties.
