SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME (SSI)

The SSI program makes cash assistance payments to aged, blind, and disabled persons (including children) who have limited income and resources. You do not have to have a work history to qualify for SSI benefits. Title XVI of the Social Security Act authorizes SSI benefits.

Title XVI benefits may be available for disabled clients who either do not have a work history or have been out of work for an extended period of time.  All our SSI clients receive the highest level of care, including representation at every level of the process.
